Lord David Triesman, Co-President of the British group Cuba Initiative, considered in Havana Monday that measures that tighten the US blockade against Cuba are deeply offensive.
The official offered such statements during the opening of a forum between Cuban and UK businessmen with the presence of President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who attended the opening of the event.
Apart from pushing for trade strengthening between the two countries, Triesman considered that, whether or not it remains within the European Union, his nation does not intend to validate the judicial litigation seeking protection in the activation of Title III of the anti-Cuban Helms Burton Act.
