First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Diosdado Cabello asserted today that the current meeting in Mexico shows the servility of the Organization of American States (OAS) to imperialist interests.
In an important anti-imperialist march and also against OAS interference in the Venezuelan political life, Cabello denounced that the servility attitude by the regional organization was ‘a well-known issue,’ because it represents the oppressive arm of the United States in Latin America.
What they are trying to do is paying the bills for the US imperialist system, said the socialist leader in reference to the foreign minister meeting that began today to analyze the situation in Venezuela.
Besides, he recalled the intentions of President Nicolas Maduro of withdrawing hi country from the OAS, because it does not represent the member countries’ needs.
In this regard, Freddy Bernal, who is also a PSUV leader, reiterated the Venezuelan willingness to continue defending their country sovereignty, faced with any threat.
The member of the national leadership of the party ratified his compatriots’ determination to defend their sovereignty and independence.
He also called the OAS as the ministry of colonies, because it tries to order political guidelines to every country in Latin America.
