The promotional campaign for the 95th anniversary of the Federation of University Student (FEU) was launched today to promote the cultural identity, patriotic principles and the legacy of the Cuban Revolution.

FEU President Jennifer Bello stated at a press conference that the activity to celebrate the organization anniversary is not just a party, it is the right moment to highlight that the Cuban youth will never forget its roots, the exploits, and feats of its heroes.

The student leader also stated the organization is aimed at reinforcing the historical commemorations of the organization, those of the Revolution and in general of the main exploits of the heroes of the homeland.

In this regard, stated Bello, we will pay homage to the martyrs of March 13, 1957, when university students led by José Antonio Echeverría staged the attack on the Presidential Palace and temporally occupy the microphones of Radio Reloj.

They will also celebrate the 55th anniversary of the University Reform and the creation of the Union of Young Communists; the 85th anniversary of Jose Antonio’s birth and the 91st of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, among other important events.
